THE SAFARI COLLECTION
CAMPS & LODGES
NAIROBI – Giraffe Manor
The most unforgettable bucket-list breakfast in the world. Often referred to as one of the most Instagrammed properties in the world, Giraffe Manor is set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest in the Langata suburb of Nairobi.
One of the most fascinating things about Giraffe Manor is its resident herd of Rothschild’s giraffes who may visit morning and evening, poking their long necks into the windows in the hope of a treat, before retreating to their forest sanctuary.
Garden Manor and The Retreat are only available in combination with any of The Safari Collection’s other properties in the same itinerary. In the event of the other property being cancelled, the booking at The Retreat is forfeited altogether, while the stay at Garden Manor becomes subject to availability at the Main Manor. However, if the booking is made within 4 weeks of arrival, the Garden Manor or The Retreat may be booked on its own.

SAMBURU – Sasaab
A stunning luxury tented camp in the heart of the Samburu wilderness. Perched on the edge of a river valley, the architecture of Sasaab blends Swahili and Moroccan design principles in which the African heat is of primary consideration.
Each of the 8 individual canvas-sided rooms is over 100m² with private plunge pools and breath-taking views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya. Its position above the river naturally facilitates watching the herds of elephant that come to bathe below as well as a host of other wildlife.
